Morning Etude – Greater St. Louis

The Morning Etude Music Club is for adults who love music and who live in the greater St. Louis area. We meet once a month alternately the 1st Wednesday morning and 3rd Monday evening, from September to May. Our programs follow various themes associated with the NFMC reports (e.g. Sacred music, Folk musical, music for strings etc.) The locations sometimes vary, but usually we are at either Lacefield Music Center in Chesterfield or the Steinway Gallery in Maryland Heights. Occasionally we substitute a Saturday or Sunday for those dates to accommodate a wider audience and incorporate a luncheon. Music and food are a natural combination!

Morning Etude members may choose to perform (Active Members) or to be non-performing (Associate Members). We all enjoy listening to each other and sharing fellowship with the group.

Our members are involved in other local groups as well such as church choirs and visiting ensembles. We have our own philanthropic group within our club, called Friends 4 Music, which performs at area senior centers and nursing homes.

We hope you’ll join us. Contact our President Anne Gassel at 636-448-2124 or morningetudestl@gmail.com
